first set of curtains done!

and those little plastic tabs that go in the rail were a challenge to sew. more than a few machine needles were sacrificed. btw- that is not a valance above the curtains its a small shelf. its just the angle of the photo.
these are lined with blackout fabric . which as i discovered is not black, but rather is white .

In the driveway!

Wow. Brian Morrow, of Brian's Vintage Trailers is a miracle worker. I dropped the Cloud off at his house in October 2011 for restoration. He brought it to me on Feb 27, 2012. From "As found" to beautiful in a just a few months. It looks amazing. I love that if feels like a cozy little cabin inside. Pleased with keeping the original floor plan with a few modern concessions- battery operated water pump, on demand hot water and propane furnace. The fridge is 2 way- electric and propane. I wanted the ability to dry camp or boondock as it is often called. Since i am more of a Forest Service Camper than an RV park camper.
